…back in March, during my visit to Asia.. I made a stop in Taiwan to visit my bestie, Vivo of {mlq.™}. She’s over there for roughly a year, doing her ‘thang.’ The night before I left, she brought us to a trendy spot called iDARTS. it’s been a while since we had such a great time! i totally fell in love w/ the place and would highly recommend many of you to check it out, should you be in the area.

 it’s basically a night-owl spot…

the night was rainy & damp but couldn’t of been more perfect.
packed the cab w/ good company, we laughed so hard it fogged up the windows.
we sped off into the night.
neon lights attracted us down a desolate alley way, we all caught up over rounds and rounds of drinks.

 the owner and bartenders were extremely PR-like; proactive about getting you into the game. truly an innovative spot for a laid-back crowd to chill. whether you knew how to throw darts or not, all systems go after pounding down a few.

at the end of the night, each of us walked away w/our own personal dart-sets; compliments of iDARTS. peep it.

a few new toys I picked up while visiting the BBC-store in Hong Kong; located inside the Harbour City complex. peep it.

yes, I have yet to shoot a video to review all the goodies in which I had purchased during my awesome trip to HK this past month… past two months? …yea, can’t remember.

but here’s a little teaser.

love the graphics on the tshirt bag from urban strangers. the whole ape/gorilla image has been overused post BAPE era. but this one doesn’t bother me so much. though the gorilla image should solely be used to represent BAPE only. i suppose this one is more of a chimp? LOL who knows? but I LIKE IT.

simple. clean. sleek.

next up, is def one of my favorite local brands in HK. the brand is called chocoolate; they remind me of the brand called rugby brought to us by Ralph Lauren. they focus on a very urban, preppy look. modern, basic, & young. I’ve always favored parcel-like packaging, and here you see their standard t-shirt shopping bag. flatter than the usual ‘shopping’ bags we’re used to seeing. made complete with the parcel ties, and a durable vinyl handle. nice touch.

how long have I been back in NYC?!
my god. I am SO behind. I’ve been back… literally… for nearly a month now, and I have yet to catch up / even touch the japanese fashion magazines that I have purchased during my trip to HK. apparently, I haven’t FULLY UNPACKED either. (see suitcase in background) I’ve been living out of my suitcase since the beginning of April. smh, LOL.

NEW totes, & zippered totes that come FREE w/ the magazines! def excited about the STUSSY one… looks dope. can’t wait to share it with you peeps. I think imma do a ‘PACK/BAG’ review video soon… (STAY TUNED!) I have way too many, and it’d be a shame not to give you guys an inside look!

can’t wait till I get a nice slot in my schedule, where I can crack these crispy magazines open and get inspired. possibly during my flight to Germany? woot. woot.

 as you already know, its always been very hectic & busy for me. sometimes, i forget why i’m even working so hard. don’t get me wrong, it’s not about the money and the cars, the cars and the clothes. or even about the bah-bling, bla-bling and the cha-ching cha-ching. it’s all for the undying passion of being able to work for myself one day, and share all the creative ideas that tend to brew endlessly inside my head; and someday being able to share that with each and everyone of you.

 material doesn’t make me happy. but, they do make me smile. LOL always appreciated the finer things in life, they’re nice to have. but not a necessity. HOWEVER, i was in need of another wallet to replace my current LV wallet. i tend to place it in my back pocket, so don’t prefer anything too bulky. therefore, i always stick with thinner card holder types or bi-folds. from the signature damier monogram print, i’ve went with a slightly bigger graphite damier print bi-fold wallet/card holder.

 did i mention i got it personalized?
oh… YES… I… DID. =)

 as i was wrapping up my purchase, and exiting the store….
